..seriously. everyone should be afraid of the dark especially in their house if they have a little kid around. If you've ever had to go to the bathroom late night and have stepped on a transformer or a an upside-down skateboard(and nearly broken your toe!) you know what I mean.

Eh I used to be afraid of the dark, but then I got over it. I can relate to the kids and toys thing though. I have dogs who have lamb bones as chew toys and I step on those things and cut my feet up.

I used to be scared of the Resident Evil video games if anybody ever played those.

I guess the only thing I am truly, 100% to the core afraid of is failure. Failure to do what I set myself to. I don't mean failing something as simple as a college class (been there done that x4), I mean failing at life-goals. Failing at those simple ideals in your head that drive your entire life. I guess in a way I fear not living, because if you fail at life-goals aren't you failing at life?

DUde, the first time through the game, at night, surround sound, and those dogs jump through the window...I swear my scream must've been a sonic boom.

hahaha. I remember that part in the first one. Resident Evil 2 is crazy at one part when you walk down this hallway once...nothing happens...walk back twice...nothing happens...BUT magically on the third time...zombies bust their arms through a boarded up window. Was playing at a friends house with 2 friends; we all fucking jumped off the bed when that shit happened.

srsly. Like silent hill/ hellraiser type hell demon grotesque beings of pure evil. Not a phobia but something that's always at the back of my mind when i'm poking through the woods at night. That and ghostly beings such as the blair witch or something. Again, walking through the woods at night if that pops into my head i get really creeped out.

That is my only real fear. If I cannot achieve my goals, I am useless. Even flunking college was a huge blow to me, because it's one thing I've wanted forever, and to fail at that magnitude... no good.

we used to work on this contactor tower in one of the gas plants that was just a shade under 200 feet tall. It wasn't too bad, other then it was 6' diameter. One really windy day I was standing up on the top catwalk looking between my feet, through the expanded metal. One second the base of the tower was between my feet, a little later the truck parked 40' or so from the base was between my feet, etc. It was pretty sweet. Made the guy working with my want to puke.

That was only a 320 footer. Next time i have to change the top bulb on the 22 tower, the 600' tower, i'll snap some pics. The base of the tower is right on a cliff too, so its really about 1500'.

my best was the amine regenerators at anschutz. Nothing but the little gas plant in sight... get up 100+ft on top of those towers and enjoy the view.
