Supper 11-04-2005, 09:41 AM what makes a good power supply anyway? It seems that every tech article I read says something completely different... SpartanTS 11-04-2005, 10:50 AM First and foremost, I judge by "weight". But I always buy ANTEC Power Supplies, as their PSU's have never killed any of my hardware. There are some technical facts that come into play with PSU's. I'm not an expert by any means, but in addition to what I posted above, I look at MTBF or Mean Time Between Failures. I avoid PSU's in which this value is under 25k hours, which is the case with most of those El Cheapo Power Supplies that come with cases/$30 Power Supplies, as my computer is always on.
