the 50 horses went into the weight & extra drivetrain :p

I was in my prelude...It is an SE (only made SEs in 95, they are Sis with more options (tan lthr, disc changer, 5spoke SE rims)...same motor as an Si though...H23a1...160 horses stock..

which one is the 200hp one the '95-6 VTEC lude?

well, they startewd VTECs in 93...they were the top of the line preludes..they had 190 horses.....but in 97, the body style changed, and a H22 (VTEC) became standard, so all the newer preludes have one...the 97-98s have 195 horses, and in 99 they went to 200 horses...changed exhaust manifold or something...but VTEC preludes can go 15.0 stock in the quarter...ive seen a guy run a 14.9 bone stock...which was a 9.6 in the 1/8th...but that is prolly one of those freak out the factory preludes....usually they go 15.1, 15.2...thats a 5spd though....the sportshift autos, run mid 16s....same motors, but horrible tranny, the autos sucks BIG ONES in 5th gens (97+)..

a good friend of mine is into preludes, and talked with a few people that have torn down 97/98 and 99 motors.... and they found 0 diffrences.. even started measuring things with micrometers, etc.... the 5hp was found by honda's advertizing dept :)
