Tonight at 5:35, on way to Buffalos, I ws driving down 29. I was like 200 yards form Buffalos. I was going up hill almost to be at the redlight next to Pizza Inn @ Ezell.
Roads were wet. All of a sudden, car WAY ahead of me put on brakes, so casually I put on brakes, then I see that I am gaining on him VERY FAST. He had slammed on brakes and was sliding! I slammed on brakes. Too late!
SMASH! This is the same exact scenerio I did with my black 92Si prelude back in January01.
Take a look at my black 92. My green 95 looks EXACTLY THE SAME! My black 92 was totaled. I will bet that my 95SE will not be deemed totaled because I HAVE THE PARTS CAR!!
I need headlights, hood, fenders, bumper, radiator support, etc.
I have JDM headlights sitting in closet, z3 fenders, bumper from parts car and front ground effect bumper, radiator support from parts car. I only need insurance to buy hood and radiator, etc. And anything else messed up under my hood. Car wouldnt do ANYTHING! no lights would come one. battery must have gotten smashed.
It got towed to Campbells and I followed them up there. My car looks so bad-ass on the roll-back, so clean, agressive. I love my car. I will never talk bad about it again. I never realized how much I loved my 95SE. I
It will get fixed. It will have a 5spd swap. It will get full kit, and repaint. My dreams are not going to be shattered by this incident.
I am filled with awe at how the same thing could happen to my cars. I will get pics of 95 Monday when Campbells opens.
I will still be at Meet Sunday, just riding with Andy (blue Mustang-[hes not a member of Illstreet])

I did the same damn thing with the 240 today... but I got about 1/3 the damage Mark did..
Hoods buckled on the passanger side, bumper/grill scraped crached, passanger headlight pushed back about 3 inches, radaitor supprt bent back about 3 inches... still drivable tho.. the Guy i was was real cool about it... we didnt call insurance so im either gonna give him some cash or hook him up with some parts.. dunno which yet tho
this was right after it happened...
cant tell in teh pic but the headlight is scared to all hell, as is the bumper.. i looked under the car earler and it looks like the passanger bumper support is bent to hell... my car kidna shoved under his.. theres a oval scrape beside my license plate from his exhaust.... it was a lowered GTi if that gives you any idea.. I was able to stand on the hood and flatten it back out a little... guess its time for a CF hood now.
not an excessive amount of damage but id guess around 1500 worth after paint and every thing...
