wotnartd 01-29-2009, 02:30 PM So I've been Netflixing movies lately, but they keep breaking! I don't know if it's bad sectors, or anti piracy or what.... but when I burn them they always end up with a finalize error. Any clues as to help make this stop? dg123 01-29-2009, 04:48 PM Do you have any video capture software? A lot of times, if you record "what you see/hear," you will bypass any anti-piracy stuff and can therefore do as you wish. I do this frequently with audio on CDs (mostly games) or online radio using the software on my sound card. One of the good things about Creative :bigthumb: wotnartd 01-29-2009, 05:12 PM I do have that option, but I don't want to use it, it's not incredibly fast. BackyardSog 01-29-2009, 05:14 PM *cough* Torrents *cough* wotnartd 01-29-2009, 05:16 PM Yeah... nothing like getting compressed audio, video, and no special features. FTL. BackyardSog 01-29-2009, 05:23 PM Who the hell watches the special features? dg123 01-29-2009, 05:31 PM I do have that option, but I don't want to use it, it's not incredibly fast. Time to upgrade? wotnartd 01-29-2009, 05:48 PM Who the hell watches the special features? Me. I like having the whole DVD. 1revnrex 01-29-2009, 06:52 PM What are you ripping with? wotnartd 01-29-2009, 07:17 PM I was using CloneDVD to rip to a ISO and then Roxio to burn, but it wasn't always working with certain movies. Then I tried ImgBurn to burn and it still didn't work. Finally, DVD Decrypter/ImgBurn are doing it. 95whitepep 01-29-2009, 07:29 PM sounds like buffer overruns to me.... wotnartd 01-29-2009, 08:12 PM It's something all DVDs from Fox have been doing to me. Something weird about the OTP, or something. Certainly no buffer over run. TonyTurboII 01-30-2009, 10:47 AM Finally, DVD Decrypter/ImgBurn are doing it. Ive been using this combo for months now with success. I get new movies every Tuesday, and just double check for an update w/ DVD decrypter before I make my "Backups". vrooom305 01-30-2009, 12:04 PM dvdshrink also works for backing up dvds as well. Tofuball 01-30-2009, 01:07 PM I use a cat for ripping. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRQjYuICJdk Zero 02-03-2009, 09:50 AM www.vcdhelp.com Used this site years ago when I watched movies more, now if I want to see one, I just buy it, which is rare. |
