rtryb2200 02-11-2008, 10:45 PM Anyone want to buy my truck that I never seem to have any time for?? wotnartd 02-11-2008, 10:58 PM Dude!? No! wotnartd 02-11-2008, 10:58 PM How much? Specs on motor S4 13BT? rtryb2200 02-11-2008, 10:59 PM Just seeing if there is any interest....we'll see I have no real reason to get rid of it, I just have not spent any time on it for about a year!! wotnartd 02-11-2008, 11:00 PM I'll admit, I'm interested. I'd hate to see all your work go to waste. rtryb2200 02-11-2008, 11:01 PM It's an s5 T2 that has a 1st gen front cover and oil pan, which allows for the mounting on the front. I have a slew of extra parts. Truck is rust free have the entire harness and some extra harness pieces. Turbo manifold will have to be custom, unless the frame is cut and boxed for the stock one rtryb2200 02-11-2008, 11:03 PM It is a solid project I have 2 drive shafts one is a 2 piece, it does have an aftermarket fuel pump, but Im not sure what it is. wotnartd 02-11-2008, 11:03 PM You're making me sad. And totally turning me on. wotnartd 02-11-2008, 11:04 PM I'd get it for the preservation of the project. But in my current state, I can't buy it. :( I quit my job. rtryb2200 02-11-2008, 11:05 PM Everything is there to make it happen with the stock ECU besides the drive shaft and the intercooler. The swap would mount right into your FB! rtryb2200 02-11-2008, 11:05 PM Too much work and schoo? wotnartd 02-11-2008, 11:06 PM Everything is there to make it happen with the stock ECU besides the drive shaft and the intercooler. The swap would mount right into your FB! But then you wouldn't have your truck. And I wouldn't have my money! But it would swap in quite well, I suppose. Put up numbers before we go any further. rtryb2200 02-11-2008, 11:10 PM Oh I really don't know, I am open for reasonable offers. Like I said, I really do not need to get rid of it. Maybe you just want the 13bt and everything that goes with it? wotnartd 02-11-2008, 11:13 PM Dude, if you got it running, you could totally drift it. Cosby 02-12-2008, 01:27 PM That thing would be a LOT of fun... I'd make it a burnout truck wotnartd 02-12-2008, 02:36 PM Just imagine drifting a truck. As much as I dislike drifting, that would be friggin sweet. Tofuball 02-12-2008, 02:51 PM If only it weren't 13 hours away! rtryb2200 02-12-2008, 06:04 PM I actually bought the truck off someone in Texas, someone I knew was traveling back from there so he trailered back to WI. I've had it for almost 3 years now...maybe I just need more encouragement!! wotnartd 02-12-2008, 08:48 PM I'll give you good BJ if you do it. rtryb2200 02-12-2008, 08:48 PM Not the type of encouragement I was looking for wotnartd 02-12-2008, 10:34 PM Does the wife have to mention it instead of nag about it? wotnartd 02-14-2008, 12:18 PM How about you sell it on the low-low to me, and then we get other people on the forum to contribute parts and pieces and we make it a GRM $2009 vehicle? rtryb2200 02-19-2008, 11:13 PM I would be willing to deliver it a certain distance. There are also a lot of extra parts. Humor me with offers rtryb2200 02-19-2008, 11:47 PM http://www.theforumlounge.com/d/13937-2/100_2576.jpg http://www.theforumlounge.com/d/13940-2/100_2577.jpg http://www.theforumlounge.com/d/13950-2/100_2581.jpg Tofuball 02-20-2008, 09:49 AM I'll trade you a really nice couch, the entire twin turbo system off an FD (including the intake manifolds and IC), a fullsize van full of RX-7 parts (logicons, manifolds, injectors, etc), the van itself (rebiult 351W engine, but it sat, van is basically worthless except as a shed and for the engine cuz of the blown trans), some good rotors and rotor housings, a paperclip (http://www.theforumlounge.com/paperclip-sale-t9410.html?&highlight=paperclip), a thumbtack, a push-pin, and a stock S4 turbo. If you have the free time for the 13 hour drive here and back, and want all this crap, I'm all for it :) wotnartd 02-20-2008, 09:56 AM I'll trade you a stock mercury tracer with an auto trans. And... you want a swimming pool? rtryb2200 02-20-2008, 06:48 PM I'll trade you a stock mercury tracer with an auto trans. And... you want a swimming pool? I have a swimming pool....and with the tracer wouldn't I be labeled a homo? rtryb2200 02-20-2008, 06:49 PM I'll trade you a really nice couch, the entire twin turbo system off an FD (including the intake manifolds and IC), a fullsize van full of RX-7 parts (logicons, manifolds, injectors, etc), the van itself (rebiult 351W engine, but it sat, van is basically worthless except as a shed and for the engine cuz of the blown trans), some good rotors and rotor housings, a paperclip (http://www.theforumlounge.com/paperclip-sale-t9410.html?&highlight=paperclip), a thumbtack, a push-pin, and a stock S4 turbo. If you have the free time for the 13 hour drive here and back, and want all this crap, I'm all for it :) Man, if only there were two paperclips Tofuball 02-20-2008, 08:16 PM What!? No deal. wotnartd 02-24-2008, 02:52 PM I have a swimming pool....and with the tracer wouldn't I be labeled a homo? Mine's a 28 footer. And I'll throw in some exhaust for an FB/B2200 w/ a 12A rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 07:59 PM Anyone else interested? wotnartd 04-27-2008, 08:34 PM So you really want to get rid of it? :( makin me sad If I was working, I'd buy it, maybe. rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 09:10 PM We'll see. The wife told me I need to get rid of it if I buy something else, and that is almost a done deal, and I pick that up next week. Not sure what is going to happen. Unless I can find some where to store it. Maybe I should post it on 7club and see if I get any takers Tofuball 04-27-2008, 09:20 PM I'm interested, next time you're driving it around here, be sure to swing by, maybe I can get it running for you :P :D rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 09:28 PM hahahaha...thats a good one!!! I really don't think it would take me much time to get it going, just need to purchase somethings, plus this thing probably won't be very good on gas wotnartd 04-27-2008, 09:47 PM Price? rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 09:49 PM Whatcha got? wotnartd 04-27-2008, 09:50 PM I want that (motor) so badly!! S5 ECU, RTek 2.0, bigger turbo, even though it's stock port, I could make it work. wotnartd 04-27-2008, 09:53 PM As of today, I have $100 in the bank, and $40 on plasma. I need to stop wanting that. I've got to pay for school next year, which will be about $1900 +books. Give me a price, please, just tickle my teaser, please. rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 09:56 PM Just the motor? I would probably give you the motor and everything associated with it for...750? wotnartd 04-27-2008, 09:57 PM Holy Freaking Crap! rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 09:59 PM too much? I am losing some money on it but...I could probably pick up a stock motor and swap into the truck to make up the difference wotnartd 04-27-2008, 10:00 PM You tease! I just ran and told my dad. His jaw mated with the floor for a moment. Ah.... to be poor. rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 10:01 PM I think I paid like 900 to my door for the motor tranny ecu and harness. wotnartd 04-27-2008, 10:02 PM :( I feel like crying. Why, oh why, did I go back to college!? rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 10:04 PM oh come on....I'll probably just finish it....I may have some things lined up that would enable this to happen. My buddy just bought a 93 FD and is dropping in a built LS6 out of a GTO Oh yeah.. STAY IN SCHOOL!! wotnartd 04-27-2008, 10:06 PM I'll take that FD's motor. No sense in him sending it to the junk yard. I'll pay twice its scrap weight. rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 10:07 PM nah he bought it without the motor, he should have it done by the end of may wotnartd 04-27-2008, 10:09 PM Damn, that's sweet. He should bring it to MRR '08, and you your truck, which you must finish. You just have to. rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 10:11 PM when is it this year? wotnartd 04-27-2008, 10:15 PM Ummm... I have it on a magnet somewhere. It coincides with the ALMS and Generac 500. Um, Aug 7-10, this year. rtryb2200 04-27-2008, 10:17 PM I actually have off this year....we'll have to see what happens wotnartd 04-27-2008, 10:21 PM It would be wicked, man. Lots of GOOD beer with me, for sure. Last year, on the way down, my FB took a dump on the highway. So depressing. This year, I'll be there, for sure, with the FB, not just my dad's Camry. wotnartd 04-28-2008, 07:45 PM What happened to Kevin's and Alex's posts? Well... yeah... I've been thinking about this my whole geography class. If you're not in too much a hurry, or could do payments, we'd be in business. Somehow, I doubt that. rtryb2200 04-28-2008, 10:33 PM you want the whole thing? or just the motor...1100 for everything wotnartd 04-28-2008, 10:41 PM 1100 for everything? That isn't too bad, either. So much to chew on. When does the wife want it out of there? rtryb2200 04-29-2008, 03:38 AM it could sit here for as long as you need....clean tx title...I never transferred it since it would have been a waste of money rtryb2200 04-29-2008, 03:39 AM I will deliver it too wotnartd 04-29-2008, 08:04 AM Lemme chew on that fat for a bit. rtryb2200 05-13-2008, 01:02 AM Have you chewed on it long enough yet?? wotnartd 05-13-2008, 01:09 AM I'm still poor, bro. Sorry. I hope you sell her to someone that loves her as much as I would. rtryb2200 05-13-2008, 01:11 AM You can make payments if you want...I would rather it go to someone who really wants it wotnartd 05-13-2008, 01:14 AM I'm still poor. Squirrel 05-13-2008, 01:19 AM now that looks like fun... if i didnt already have an FCmoneypitofdoom... i would snach that up.... rtryb2200 06-01-2008, 10:03 PM Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=002&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=120268150575&rd=1 wotnartd 06-01-2008, 10:07 PM Good luck, amigo! rtryb2200 06-01-2008, 10:13 PM We shall see, I listed it a long time ago and it got to like 400. If anything I will buy a stock motor, pull the rotary and sell them separate wotnartd 06-01-2008, 10:17 PM You'd probably make more that way... I don't think I'll be the buyer, though. I am without job, still. fucking HR BS. rtryb2200 06-01-2008, 10:18 PM Man, it's summer time..go work a resort or a bar wotnartd 06-01-2008, 10:27 PM It's too late, now. All the jobs are gone, because I was GUARANTEED a job, so I thought, "Gee, I don't need to apply elsewhere." I can;t even get a new radiator for the FB... :( 1revnrex 06-02-2008, 06:22 AM Damn it man if I wasnt in FL I'd be all over this project. Some fat ass in town has a swapped B2000, I love that truck. rtryb2200 06-02-2008, 09:10 PM there are shipping companies ya know. I think for around 400-600 they can get it there for you...cheaper then you coming to get it rtryb2200 06-14-2008, 12:54 AM Truck has been sold....it is going to become electric! still have the t2 swap set up for a 1st gen Alex-7 06-16-2008, 01:11 AM What's the price on that? rtryb2200 06-16-2008, 01:27 AM What do you want to give me...I'm pretty reasonable and I may take trades, but you can't pay me in Beer Alex-7 06-16-2008, 01:48 AM Lol. I'm just curious. My rotary/project days are probably gone for good. rtryb2200 06-16-2008, 03:36 AM I'm not real sure what I am going to do yet...I would have no luck finding a decent FB around here. We have a '31 model A Sedan that I might tackle. It needs tranny work, but a mustang II front end and a 327 would be a nice swap Alex-7 06-16-2008, 03:51 AM . We have a '31 model A Sedan that I might tackle. Now that's something I'd trade you some shit for! It runs and drives? rtryb2200 06-16-2008, 03:52 AM All original, there is some bondo but otherwise it runs good. We also have a 31 coupe with a rumble seat, that is in a lot better shape Alex-7 06-16-2008, 03:56 AM Always wanted a sedan for some reason. I would seriously Love to get my hands on that thing. You should post a pics of those things one of these days. rtryb2200 06-16-2008, 03:57 AM here they are http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/5971/picture048sh4.jpg http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/797/picture050rz6.jpg rtryb2200 06-16-2008, 04:00 AM My folks inherited them from my mom's cousin, along with most of the guns and numerous other things. He used the sedan as a dd for quite some time after he finished it. The coupe was finished in the early 80's and not driven much, until now. My dad loves taking them for short trips out in the country where they live. One reason for getting rid of the truck was to possibly bring the sedan home, but we'll see what happens Alex-7 06-16-2008, 04:02 AM Seriously holler at me if you ever decide to get rid of that sedan. rtryb2200 06-16-2008, 04:04 AM Pretty sure it's not going to happen, these things are becoming harder and harder to find at a decent price. People only want them for the good bodies and then turn them into rat rods. The coupe has been driven more in the last year then probably the last 20 Alex-7 06-16-2008, 04:11 AM Hell yeah. You should T2 swap the coupe..... rtryb2200 06-16-2008, 04:14 AM That would be insane Alex-7 06-16-2008, 04:17 AM Bad ass is what it's be. If you rat rod either of those A's, DO THE T2 SWAP! It'd blow peoples minds, maybe make some folk angry. You'd have the only one though, that's for sure... rtryb2200 06-16-2008, 04:21 AM wouldn't be too difficult either...I might need to discus this with the old man this next week Herschel 06-16-2008, 09:27 AM I've had these two pics for awhile now.....I always thought it would be cool to toss a rotary in an old car like that....Only I wouldn't paint it gay pink.... http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/2028/sevenstock2007123vn8.jpg http://img376.imageshack.us/img376/3572/sevenstock2007125vh8.jpg wotnartd 06-17-2008, 09:33 PM If anything, do a 20B swap, with monster port job. $100T2 06-25-2008, 11:18 PM still have the t2 swap set up for a 1st gen Mucho interestedo. wotnartd 06-25-2008, 11:33 PM IR sad panda. |
