An e-mail I got from my mom includes this phrase, sounds freaky:
Uncle Robert got the radioactive pellets removed [from his eyeball] and is healing nicely.
Apparently at a regular eye checkup, they noticed some cancer in one of my uncle's eyes. They filled his eye ball with radioactive pellets to kill it. Sounds freaky, but apparently it worked!

I believe they are starting to do this to treat prostate cancer, as well.

I met a woman who got treated for cervical cancer, and as basically a last resort they shoved radioactive rods up in her vagina and stuck her in isolation for four days at a time.. and they did this to her like 3 times

Seed radiation is nothing new.
Its a low dose radiation that is placed inside of the tumor and kills it from the inside out without affecting the healthy tissue that a directed radiation beam would normally do.
