I had this same idea in high school but never got around to actually making one. I noticed that a good amount of the comments say its fake. what do you guys think?
edit: I love this site BTW, its got some pretty good stuff on it :)

Er... no it doesnt. If it was THAT easy to get free energy out of a few permanent magnets and a generator, it would have been done a looooong time ago.
