I always did think it was funny when Republicans would spout off about "liberal gun control".

I generally fall in line with the Libertarians, I'm a little less fiscally conservative though.

Against who? A 20 guage shotgun would be far more effective in defending your home. Less chancer of missing during a high stress confrontation. Also, the projectil3es can't potentially travel a mile or so and hit some little kid sleepiong in his bed.

How do3s that really change anything? How many good people honestly carry a handgun with them whereever they go? It's a mooy point. People with hunting weapons in their homes would still be able tyo defend themselves against an intruder effectivly.

The streets aren't always safe and carrying a shotgun in public isn't practical. And your right, handguns are for killing people....people that try to threaten your life. And most legitamate handgun owners practice often, so missing your target is less likely to happen.

I have 4 good friends that carry handguns almost all the time. You can never know what could possibly happen. A friend of mine was almost killed over some mistaken identity. Had anyone of us been armed, things would have went much differently.

People carrying handguns with them can only escalate a situation. What would have been a robbery leaving no one injured could now be an all out firefight with one or both parties ending up in a bag.

As far as the hicks who love shooting their little guns for practice and sport....fuck em. My idea of a good time is a bottle of booze , a bag of cocaine and a 16 year old girl. Big brother doesn't seem to care what I think though do they.
