Sean951 10-13-2003, 06:31 PM turbo mounted on the rear of the exhaust. now theres thinking outside the box  http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=93203 91lx 10-13-2003, 08:19 PM those oil lines alone must hold 5 quarts. Sean951 10-13-2003, 09:28 PM lol....serioulsy....wonder how long it takes to spool with those 6 foot long intercooler pipes...the dyno chat wasnt to bad though...must be on a v8 91lx 10-13-2003, 09:42 PM the underbody design looks like a mustang but the rear bumper looks like its on a camaro also the gas tank doesnt look ford. Sean951 10-13-2003, 10:25 PM thats another thing, i might put a heat sheild on that turbo with it being underneath the gas tank Cosby 10-14-2003, 09:51 AM really if you think about it an intercooler wouldnt be THAT necessary so if you plumb it directly to the throttle body of whatever the car is youre going to end up close to what most single turbo rx7s have in terms of piping. HTM Impreza WRX 10-14-2003, 10:17 AM in this situation....an I/C could be mounted to the back bumper, and it'll work slightly less than a FMIC. unless the car is lowered. that'll add 2 feet to the already rediciously long intake piping...but it'll work. that better be a v8 to power that turbo. 91lx 10-14-2003, 11:06 AM just mount the intercooler on the roof. |
