I was about to pull the trigger on Adobe, but heard that it's not intuitive and tends to tax the CPU and memory for rendering.

I know nothing about the Sony http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/vegassoftware

This is for my HD 1080p.

This is what I want to do:


Cut out scenes
Add scenes from other footages
And be able to type fonts with the sound effects with a military flavor to it like this scene at 3:32

From what I've seen adobe is the best. I use adobe for everything. Dunno much about video editing though.
