Plays video and music and can be used as a USB hard drive. Do you want to watch movies on it? I find that traveling with one ore two movies on my ipod always helps pass the time. Do you want to hook it up to your car stereo? Most new cars have a aux input.... Everything after that is just an added bonus as opposed to a selling point. I've got a Creative Zen right now that's 8GB and that's not nearly enough in terms of storage for music.
