You don't just "fall behind" in your payments for a month or two and have your car repossessed...

I don't get how anyone can't afford payments on that car........... and why that car would break in the first place.

Then again it's a young buck with no $$$$ that must drive the car like he hates it.

Actually, he probably traded something in on it that he didn't own enough of and made it worse by financing the tax and license too. Add in an extended warranty, "paint protectant" and undercoating (that's the True-Cote protectant... it's applied at the factory...) and you're screwed. :D

Pretty common with younger buyers who only care about the monthly payment, not whether they have any equity in the car for the first 3+ years or that they'll be paying almost as much in interest as they're paying for the car after 6+ years of financing. :bigthumb:
