So... anyone know of any products that prevent those red bumps that hair causes right after you shave?

Also... anyone used nair on their ass? I was thinking about trying it... i bet it burns though.

I've shaved mine with a razor more than once.... didn't grow back thicker... no "sticking together"... no problems at all... just hard as hell to do.

either rub baby oil on the shaved area immediately after shaving, or use bikini nair. The second burns after 15 mins or so, though.

When you shave, the hair is pulled out a bit, cut, then snaps back under the skin. The red bumps are caused by the corners of your now square-ended hairs catching on the edges of the hole in your skin as it re-emerges, irritating the skin. A bit of oil lubes it as it grows back to skin level within a few hours, then the hard corners on the end of the hair are worn away over the next day or two.
