no, we got that. It's just that they were all terrible, and most they weren't even proper riddles. A proper riddle can have only one answer, where most of yours could have been anything. What can I make that I can't see? Lots of fucking things. Methane, C02, etc. What kind of key can I eat? Hell, any fucking key, if I feel like it. I could go out, and eat some fucking brass keys right now, if I felt inclined.

Turbo II Rotor 08-27-2008, 08:07 PM What weights more, a pound of gold or a pound of feathers?
fcdrifter13 08-27-2008, 08:19 PM they are the same lol.
RyanFlemington 08-27-2008, 08:23 PM shrug, but a pound of feathers would weigh the same amount as a pound of gold. Or, my ass. Naah HahAA HA HAAA-ENOUGH!
and cuz it's so epic, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DEC87Ao0Do
Turbo II Rotor 08-27-2008, 08:42 PM The feathers are heavier, Gold is weighted in troy pounds which are lighter than the standard lb.

Who can find the spelling error?
jshiz 08-27-2008, 10:12 PM Weighs not weights
RyanFlemington 08-27-2008, 10:35 PM I caught it earlier, hence the italics in my previous post.
oakback 08-28-2008, 07:32 AM Is the pound of feathers attached to a duck? Is the gold broken into pieces small enough to float?
$100T2 08-28-2008, 08:07 AM Hey babyjesus, here's a riddle for you:
What can you join, but not truly be a member of?
Fendamonky 08-28-2008, 10:58 AM ^ :lmfao:
Fendamonky 08-28-2008, 11:03 AM Ok, so here's one:
You are walking down a path in the woods when you come upon a split in said path. One direction leads to certain death, the other direction leads to safety. At this junction there are two brothers, one is incapable of lying, the other is incapable of telling the truth. You may only ask one question, of either brother, to discover which path is safe to walk down. Which brother do you question, and what do you ask?
oakback 08-28-2008, 12:17 PM Ok, so here's one:
You are walking down a path in the woods when you come upon a split in said path. One direction leads to certain death, the other direction leads to safety. At this junction there are two brothers, one is incapable of lying, the other is incapable of telling the truth. You may only ask one question, of either brother, to discover which path is safe to walk down. Which brother do you question, and what do you ask?
Question either brother, "Which direction will your brother point to, if I ask him to point to the path that leads to safety?" They'll both point to the path that leads to death, take the other path to safety.
Tofuball 08-28-2008, 12:23 PM Man, I haven't seen Labyrinth in forever.
dg123 08-28-2008, 02:40 PM Is the pound of feathers attached to a duck? Is the gold broken into pieces small enough to float?
The ability to float is the ability to displace volume greater than an objects mass. In the case of gold, it could be as small as a pebble but still sink to the bottom. So with gold, it would have to be larger in volume with relatively smaller mass, not smaller in volume.
Fendamonky 08-28-2008, 02:46 PM ^ thanks Newton.

I wonder if gold leaf floats.
dg123 08-28-2008, 04:00 PM As long as it doesn't break the surface tension and isn't very heavy, I don't see why not.
