I just did a quick scan- Stephen Stills? WTF he played bass except for Buffalo springfield which was hardly ground breaking as far as guitar work. Neil young added any significance to that band anyways- i ddin't even see him on the list. Lou Reed? I'm the biggest VU fan in the world, but it wasn't his guitar work that makesd them so amazing. Peter Green and Steve Howe should be in the top 20 at LEAST. SRV and Hendrix didn't die young enough IMHO. Fuse 02-16-2007, 11:12 PM Theres quite a few people i don't see on the list actually Steve Vai Petrucci Satriani Michael Angelo Yngwie (kinda hate him, but he IS pretty good... technicality wise anyway, his songs suck imo) and how the fuck is carlos santana in 15? he hasnt done anything great... seriously, i know asian guitar players who've have a bigger impact.... |
