BATMAN 07-25-2005, 01:07 PM http://www.welltowire.com/Images/MOTOR1.jpg http://www.coatesengine.com What are ur thoughts? 14,000RPM Pump gas 1000~ HP 5.0 mustang - all engine (no NOS, no turbos or blowers) TJGoSurf 07-25-2005, 08:05 PM I like it, and they claim its lets expensive? 91lx 07-25-2005, 09:43 PM where do you see the 5.0 engine part? theloudroom 07-31-2005, 10:40 PM Seems like the sealing would be an issue... like you'd have all the sealing problems of a rotary engine. theloudroom 07-31-2005, 10:53 PM I checked out their self-adjusting wheel bearing. It's just spring in between the washer and the outer bearing. (See the USPTO docs.) That means every time you turn the car, your bearings are moving around. 91lx 07-31-2005, 11:19 PM their claims are at like 14,500rpm i think... building a 5.0 engine that can rev that high reliably and you can have a sbf stroker with a single turbo putting that down easily for the same price. BATMAN 08-01-2005, 08:24 AM but the other advantages are improved MPG and reduced emissions. Best of all worlds. better MPG while cruising, and no stinking exhaust. |
