1) The use of profanity is discouraged. Yes, arguments get heated, and sometimes you just need to throw one in there to vehemently make your point, but as all forms of religion deserve respect, let's try to keep this as clean as possible.

2) There will be NO personal attacks allowed, tolerated, looked at sideways, let slide, or any other synonym thereof. First time will be a post edit and a warning, second time will be a post delete and a week ban from the Religion section, third time will be a week ban from the forum and a permanent ban from the Religion section. There will also be NO harassing of other members, following them from thread to thread. We have a Smacktalk section. Need to say something about someone's character, intelligence, or mother? Take it there.

3) Keep your posts on-topic, or in line with the direction the thread has taken. Any posts that don't add to the discussion will be deleted.

4) All Religions (or lack of Religion) will be treated with RESPECT. No slander, no stereotypes, etc. By this, I mean no posting things like "All Muslims are terrorists destined for hell", that type of thing. If you're in doubt, don't post it. Run it by a mod if you need to.

5) No more quoting other members, then changing what they said to reflect either A) what you think they mean, B) to "clarify", C) to change their post more in line with your thinking, or D) to be a smartass. You can respond to what they posted with YOUR opinion, but leave the original posters intent alone.

If you feel a post is questionable or offensive, PM a mod or use the "Report Bad Post" function. Do not start complaining in the thread, or make new threads in the Religion and Philosophy forum to complain about other users.

The mods have final interpretation over what stays and what goes. Any disputes over rules or the enforcement of those rules should be taken up with either Manntis, who is the mod of this forum, or with either of the Supermods (Batman or $100T2) via PM. If you feel that your problem was not handled correctly after those steps, then you should contact COsborne.

Let me reiterate: If you need to slam somebody, take it to Smacktalk. If it spills over to any other section of the forum, the penalties above will apply.

I understand that some people report posts while at the same time breaking the rules themselves, but there is no getting around the fact that the same person has repeatedly shown that he cannot handle being here no matter what happens. -Who cares what anybody says? Nobody cares; if people follow the simple guidelines laid out here. If you don't agree with something, such as an entire religion, NOBODY FUCKING CARES! If you do take every instance to jack someone's thread with negativity in regards to that entire religion, expect for someone (probably the person you did it to originally) to return the fucking favor. If you can't deal with being questioned about God's existence (especially after the fact that you already went to great lengths to break the rules and in doing so, irritate someone through intolerance) and claim someone a "jerk" because they do not share your opinion, chances are you should probably slit your wrists after taking a blood thinner and do the world a favor.
