The rx7club has undergone regular "server upgrades" on a schedule of about on per year. Plus, it becomes temporarily disabled on a monthly basis.

Sounds like the 'ol yearly rotary rebuilds and monthly flooding at startup. :)

I agree, quite possibly BOOSTD7 giving up. He probably milked 7club for all it was worth, couldn't get any more out of it, and since his 2nd gen has been "under construction" since 1999 practically he saw no reason to keep it running.

The way he ran that "business" was incredibly shitty. He did a great job with that magazine too :rolleyes:

He would let any vendor on, no matter how bad their reputation. Then those venders would screw over forum members, and Ryan (BOOSTD7) would defend the vendor. Thus people stopped using many of the vendors, and they probably left.

I'm sure it will be back, but like I said he doesn't give a fuck anymore about it so it wont exactly be a fast recovery.

No idea how much he makes, he claims he barely makes anything, like 30k a year (quoted in a thread). But that's a load of crap for where he lives, what he lives in, and his lifestyle. He quit his other job to do this stuff. I'm sure the magazine made him some good change, but that probably ended after he stopped sending anyone new issues let alone even trying to make new issues.
