They put on a hell of a show

The show was in Hamilton. Fucking great performance, I love the way Maynard dances around the stage.

I saw them in Pensacola just a while back. It was an intense show, but the girlfriend couldn't handle it and the crowd were pretty shitty. We managed front row, and nearly managed to get beat up by some whiney Tool-fanatics because we "just got there" and they had "been there since 8 am." It pays to know how the venue admits people... There are 4 lines dumbasses!

The Pensacola Civic Center makes people get into 4 lines to get in. The people who were there when we got there were all lined up in one single line. So we just stood next to them. The people who take your tickets and give you wristbands came out and they were like, "NO NO!! They're getting their bands first, we were here first!!" And the lady doing the wristbands said, "It's not like they're going in right now, calm down."

And then the security came out and told us all to make 4 lines, male/female/male/female. At this point what was 1 line of sunburnt, drunk idiots became 4 lines of people who had arrived only a couple hours before, and they therefore couldn't say shit to us any more.

It was just stupid. And it can work out in your favor when you know how the venue is organized.

I guess it can be said for any band, but some of the tool fans are real douche bags. I remember when I was there this one black guy kept trying to jump over top of me because I was in a better spot than him. No wonder Maynard ignores the audience.

I saw them at DTE Theatre in michigan and they were amazing. The laser light show was awesome and im 99% sure they burnt down on stage while someone was replacing a drum head.
