mazdaspeedrex 12-15-2006, 09:58 AM If anyone else has seen it they should agree that it's a fucked up movie. It's based on the book by Phillip K. Dick, who also wrote the books Bladerunner and Total Recall. It is animated but it's drawn over live action for a really trippy effect. I would not recommend watching it high, it might freak you out too much. nadface 02-13-2007, 06:13 PM Yeah, wierd movie. The opening scene made me feel dirty just watching it. AF-H1VLTG3 02-14-2007, 01:41 AM Yea, plot wasnt to bad either. I honestly didnt expect the end result. Manntis 02-15-2007, 07:26 AM It's based on the book by Phillip K. Dick, who also wrote the books Bladerunner and Total Recall. Actually he wrote some novels, such as Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? which became the film Bladerunner, and more than 120 short stories including We Can Remember It for You Wholesale (1966) which became the film Total Recall, among others: The Minority Report (Minority Report) Second Variety (Screamers) Paycheck (Paycheck) MX5Tuner 03-24-2007, 02:10 PM definatly a weird movie, I say don't watch it high cause you will be confused as hell...... Ark2 03-24-2007, 11:00 PM Found it to be pretty fucking boring. If they didn't shoot it the way that they did I bet no one would know what the hell it is. RyanFlemington 03-25-2007, 06:39 AM Really liked this movie; it was interesting to figure out what was going on, and it was a pretty cool concept. Supper 04-09-2007, 05:29 PM Actually he wrote some novels, such as Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? which became the film Bladerunner, and more than 120 short stories including We Can Remember It for You Wholesale (1966) which became the film Total Recall, among others: The Minority Report (Minority Report) Second Variety (Screamers) Paycheck (Paycheck) :werd: Fucking awesome author. grassandtreejenvy 04-18-2007, 05:53 PM hmm i guesse ill have to see it grassandtreejenvy 04-18-2007, 05:54 PM what exactly is it about grassandtreejenvy 04-18-2007, 05:55 PM I saw all the previews and stuff but didnt really get it ReverendDexter 04-23-2007, 10:52 PM You won't get it if you think that it's as simple as a preview could convey. I agree with the OG poster, don't watch it while you're high - I saw it in the theater stone cold sober and felt *drunk* trying to drive home. PKD was an awesome author, and I'm glad this story didn't get all hollywooded out. |
