What is all this I hear about Second Life, the game. It's a weird fkn game and it seems a lot of people are playing it. You walk around in a world like the sims and can earn in game money. Has anyone ever heard of this game...and can you tell me what the reason is behind playing it? hahaha

Yeah, i studied it in one of my sociology courses last year. It's basically like a second life for people who've fucked up their 1st life (aka RL). You purchase land, build a house, buy shit to furnish your house, etc, etc.. You can also work in the cities at other businesses, lets say a night club, WHICH somebody else in the world built. For example you could purchase land, build a shop, then actually make things and sell them for "linden dollars." Sooo lets say you sold something for $200ld, you can then take that "credit" and transfer it into real physical money (like USD).

Basically if you're emo or a hermit you'll enjoy playing Second Life.

ROFL, kids with no lives should really try working on their first one before taking up a second one. Soon theyll add the "cut yourself" motion for the emo kids...then maybe they can add psychiatrists to that place too.

Im sure you could buy an razor blade in some of the shops there, and i bet you there are all ready psychiatrists in it.

Ha, I tried the game for like 5 minutes...I was like WTF is the point of this game? Never logged on since...stupidest fucking game. Ha, but whoever owns the game, must have known the fact that there are a lot of messed up people in the world who would spend their life on it.
