i was bolting up the light weight flywheel the other night and the last bolt i was putting in got tight half way in.  i tryed to back it back out and it broke.  so now I have half a bolt stuck in the crank.   iver herd horrible storys of unblanaced flywheels breaking and cutting peoples legs/feet off so im kinda at a loss as what to do.  i really really really hate teh idea of trying to drill it out.

you may be able to get it with an ez-out
it rips into the top part of the bolt and you can slowly pull it out
just dont break the ez-out, drilling out hardened steel is fun! <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Drill a hole in the bolt and beat in an EZ-out. &nbsp;Thats how I get all the bolts I break out . &nbsp;Im not that bad anymore I use a torque wrench on bolts I dont want to break.

a little heat may help. use one of those portable propane torches and heat the surrounding area around the bolt. if all else fails, u may have to drill out the entire stud and retap the hole. try to drill as close to center as possible. i have to work til 3:30 sat if u could wait til then i could help.
