to date, my best 1/8th mile time has been a 10.67  that was with a completely stripped interior, and me doging the crap out of it.

tonight, with a full interior, golf clubs, lap top, tons of tools and a 1/2 tank of gas i was able to click off a 10.35   i couldnt beleive it.

the combination of a new clutch, and lighter wheels made a 3 seconds difference.  im going to strip the interior again, and shoot for a 10.00  i think its got it in it.

even though the clutch is brand new, its not grabing second like it should.  it jsut simply refuses to chirp second.  it jsut slips for the split second it should spin.  i think if i can figure teh clutch deal out, and with a little engine tuneing it can be a high 9 car.  what do yall think ?

high 9, i know yall are laughing..  come on its a 4 banger with hardley any thing done to it.

dats aiite...but i dont think u should drive ur car hard since u dropped in a new clutch. u should break it in first like 500 miles i believe... and then drive it hard cuz u can mess up ur clutch

I say its not even worth the trouble just to be skimming the 10s. &nbsp;Work on some drifts instead <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

shut up mark. &nbsp;i meant 3.ths and the gas light only came on, on the stageing hill ! <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> &nbsp;also, the first time I ever ran it, it ran like a 11.10 or some garbage. &nbsp; a 10.35 was like incredible to me. &nbsp;lol &nbsp;oh well. &nbsp;as for drifting, Im pretty good at that. &nbsp; It has to be a semi high &nbsp;speed drift though, like 40 mph or so, to get hte back out correctly, or in the rain. &nbsp;im better at it int he rain. Its like driving a car with more power ! &nbsp;haha <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

pfft, I bet my POS car couldn't pull a damn 15... Well, ok, it can, but I doubt I could ever get to 10.35... or 11 for that matter. <img src="http://www.spartanburgracing.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

a 10.35 is great considering it would only run 11.0's and high 10's in the past....i wish i could get a 10.35...good job...
