After I got that I checked the mod, a vendor mod that got moved to the lounge to police the area, I didn't change my sig and fired off an email to DKJ. Today my sig is still here, AND the mod is no longer listed as a lounge mod. Its amazing that something good happens when you complain.

Who was the mod so we can make fun of him?

The issue isn't the bandwidth they have to shell out for the sig. The issue is that search engines penalize you for having slow-loading pages. It takes spiders longer to crawl the site. It takes people with slow connections longer to load pages. It uses more memory when browsing. There are a lot of really good reasons for limiting signature size. I usually only say something when they're REALLY out of hand or they keep me from being able to browse the site with the 56K template. It's been an issue here two or three times.
