As I'm pulling parts together for the FB, I have begun asking myself a very serious question: "Should I do line locks?" What do you guys think? Even if I don't use them, they'd be there, just in case.

What do you guys think?

Line locks are solenoid valves that you put on your front (or rear) brake lines. Once the brakes are depressed, you flip a switch, closing the valve, and keeping the brakes set, allowing you to do burnout, before going and drag racing.

They are fun to play with but are not worth it on a street car. Unless you are like OMG s480 turbo, 500hp look at me go type of thing.

Everyone on TFL has a bigger e-cock than everyone else. This is how the internet exists. Line locks for the front wheels because you have a manual RWD vehicle? Learn to heel-toe or get enough power to where you can stay motionless.

I'd rather not glaze my rear brakes.

single turbo, or V8 swap?
13BT, bigish injectors, bigish turbo, ECU. Whole kit and kaboodle. Smaller budget (couple grand), long time span (July '09). Will also be putting a fair amount of the budget into suspension.
