According to Silva its going to be his last fight at 205 and he will be dropping down to 185 again to defend his title in September. UFC would like to see him fight again in the light heavyweight class and I see why. His Muay Thai is lethal and efficient, he took care of Irvin in one minute and a second.

Silva is pound for pound the best fighter in the UFC. Actually, I would go so far as to say he is the best fighter in MMA period. His skills are so far beyond anyone else right now it's almost not fair. Right now I would LOVE to see Forest Griffin and Silva fight. Forest has really matured as a fighter and he can take a friggin' punch with the best of them, but I still think that Silva is unstoppable....

Did you watch all he other stuff that was on before the Silva vs. Irvin fight? Like the knockout special? In particular, Diaz knocking out Oishi? That rope a dope shit he did was the funniest shit I have ever seen.....

I think Affliction could be very big but they need to get more professional. They had horrible announcers and I think they should have gotten somebody like Bas to do the commentary as Big John Mcarthy sucked. I also thought the Megadeath performance was cheesy and the show would have been much better without it.

I do think the fighters are looking for something better. But I see Affliction doing many of the cheesy WWF style things that was holding the UFC back for many years. Many people including myself want it to be treated as a professional sport and it's not quite taken as serious with that type of showcase.

I didn't watch it... but it seems they're making the right moves. This chick was telling me that the reason Affliction started their own fighting organization is because UFC was blocking out anything that said "Affliction" on it, even people in the crowd, because TAPOUT was crying.

Seriously, I'm going to support Affliction just to get rid of the tapout faggots, if for no other reason... have you ever seen these tools?
