As a moderator, you can't let your personal vendetta influence your decisions for the site. I don't like yzf so why do I unban him? the same reason NOBODY has been permabanned. I made this forum so people could communicate without the fear of being banned permanently for what they have to say. all I asked was to keep it in the proper sections. just because a moderator doesn't agree, it doesn't mean you can enforce the rules as YOU see fit if it doesn't fit with my vision. the site makes maybe $200 a year... hardly worth fucking with the drama. the past couple of days have made me realize that I don't think this place will ever be what I had hoped.

If you have a "vision", maybe you should try sharing it with the people you enlist to help your board. Rev and I both spent lots of time dealing with reported threads and posts, and are around her much more than you are. That ban was a long time coming, and was long overdue. Mark was warned, and warned, and warned again, and finally after constantly pushing, he got a permanent ban. Then you come around a few weeks later, saw that site hits were down, and unbanned him without even mentioning it to Rev or to me. Now, yeah, this is your forum. But, you might want to share "your vision" with the guys you have help run your board, and you might want to respect us enough to discuss things before you do them. If you're going to do that kind of shit, let the other guys know in advance so they can say, "Hey, I want no part of it." If you don't want people permabanned, then tell the mods in advance you don't want that. Bottom line is, you pop in and out of this forum as you see fit, and dabble around with stuff without even checking with the guys you leave in charge. That's pretty ridiculous.

And having modded a couple forums myself, I agree with Kevin--you cant just keep your mods in the dark and then slam the decisions they make, and expect there to be no fallout from it. I understand why rev said this place sucks--you cut his legs as a mod right out from under him, and you did the exact same thing to Kevin the last time this same issue came up. What did you expect, honestly? You cant keep cutting your mods down in front of the forum like that and expect them to want to mod for you!
