rtryb2200 04-24-2008, 11:11 PM I wasn't really looking hard, but I am sick of borrowing my dad's truck. Not really much of a Ford guy either, but the price was right and I shouldn't need to buy anything else until this one rusts away. Plus it had a lot of extras 1revnrex 04-24-2008, 11:29 PM How much you paying for Diesel where you're at? Fiona 04-25-2008, 12:17 AM Nice truck!! Is that an early 90's model? I am definitely a Ford girl and have been looking for crew cab for quite a while!! I have an '02 Super Duty right now, but want a '97 Crew Cab too. As the price of diesel goes up, the number of trucks for sale is increasing too!! I know I'll find one this summer for sure!!! rtryb2200 04-25-2008, 01:10 AM Diesel is 4.23 the last time I checked. I will not be driving it all the time just when needed. I actually have not picked it up yet, needed to get some work done before I bought it....new rearend, new brakes, and a few other minor things It is a '95 and even though there is some work to be done it was still worth it Alex-7 04-25-2008, 04:28 AM I know that truck well. Always liked em. rtryb2200 04-25-2008, 10:20 PM did you own one before....this is my first Ford experience rtryb2200 04-25-2008, 11:31 PM Nice truck!! Is that an early 90's model? I have a '68 F-250 Camper Special,, an '02 F-250 Super Duty, and a '90 F-250 donor truck,,, and had a '90 F-250 XLT Lariat,, God rest her soul,,, My son has an '87 F-150 Long Box and I'm looking for something similar for my daughter as well as the CC for me!! I figure that with the fuel prices going up the way they are,,, in another couple of months I can have pick of the litter and rock bottom prices!! Hell, if I wait long enough, maybe they'll pay me to take one or two off their hands!!! Ha! Ha!! Ha!!! Here's a few pics of the SD,,,, http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f15/ekokos/Super%20Duty/10-12-07094.jpg http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f15/ekokos/Super%20Duty/sd.jpg http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f15/ekokos/Super%20Duty/Picture016.jpg rtryb2200 04-26-2008, 12:34 AM Clean truck!! I have been a GM guy, have friends that own a Dodge dealership, so I've been in most of them. I really have wanted a PSD for quite a while, but never found a one at a decent price. We'll see how it goes It also has a banks kit so that was one of the deciding factors Fiona 04-26-2008, 12:51 AM Thanks!! Just be true to your oil changes and you should get 350-500k miles easy!! I had 385k on my Lariat when she got totaled in a roll over. I prefer synthetic oil, but after living in Alaska for seven years,, I just got into the habit!! Alex-7 04-26-2008, 02:22 AM did you own one before....this is my first Ford experience I had that exact truck sit on a car lot I worked at for over a year (we where buried in it money wise) and I drove it around quite a bit. Ended up cheap selling it to a friend of mine who drove the shit out of it for about another year (he had to spend about $800 on it at the ford dealer once for some kinda turbo oil leaking issue, but otherwise it was fine) He ended up selling it for a couple grand more than he bought it for. They get around pretty smartly for how damn big they are. Enjoy. AteTuna 04-26-2008, 03:22 PM Trucks are getting so dirt cheap that I've been thinking of getting one just for the hell of it. Fiona 04-26-2008, 09:30 PM No doubt!! I'm thinking of getting two or three!!! That way I won't have to choose a color!!! Ha! Ha!! Ha!!! wotnartd 05-12-2008, 10:51 PM Dude, why didn't I see this thread sooner? HOORAY YOU!
