that looks nice. Theyre relatively reliable as long as you keep an eye on wear parts.

Dealer was asking $12,000 for it. The salesman left the desk and I saw what he gave the lady that traded it in, which was $7,500.
I told him I'll pay $9k, he said $10k. I went to lunch on that note...
He settled for $9,500 and we took that baby home :)
Nice buy. I checked out autotrader and some are holding their value going for 15K. I did find one for $6,995, but it was an XLS 4X4.

The XLS trim at least looked decent during the 2nd Generation, but now they just look plain ugly.
I've seen tons on AutoTrader around the 10k range, even some Eddie Bauer Editions. If you're anything like me, and don't necessarily mind high mileage, you'll find some great deals.

I think not :)
I'm babying it as much as I can to save gas. Since it's the 6 instead of the 8, the mileage is decent.
Now that I have an SUV, I'll treat myself to a sports car upon graduation hopefully.

you should get some offroad tires and get a lift. some safari bars and offroad lamps...and go mudding.

I'll be keeping this all stock. It's a 2WD V6 model, so there's really no need for a lift and huge tires because it'll suck at off-roading anyway :)
It's comfortable, relatively quiet, and provides a nice ride for me and the wifey. That's all I need, for the moment.
