I bought a brand new G17. Going to be heading out here as soon as a friend of mine finishes mounting the scope on his .223 to try the puppy out. It sure feels a lot better in my hand then the old glocks that I remember. Dunno if its just time, or if they really changed their design.

As for the glock, it is an acquired taste....I dont like the trigger on them at all. Good luck with it....I am still thinking about that new Sig 229 concealer, or maybe even the Smith MP....

^ There are many many trigger mods out there for them. Going to give the one all the "tactical" guys say is the best and see what it feels like.

how hard is it for you guys to get a pistol wherever your from? Alaska takes like 2 days and bam! you can get whatveryou want, that is one fo the reasons i like it up here.

Damn I would freak out if I had to wait 2 days.

I have a G34 that I like. It's got the 3.5 lb trigger reaction spring stock so it's a little lighter and smoother than the 5 lb. It's no match grade trigger, but I don't find it objectionable. My brother has a regular Surefire flashlight that kicks ass. I should probably have a light for my Glock.
