flipped it on the pavement in front of the shop backing it out to go wash it.
Was just backing it out, next thing I knew I was laying on the pavement with the quad on its side. Front wheels must turn faster then the back wheels in four wheel drive.

Supper 08-22-2006, 01:01 PM Yamaha Grizzly 660 4wheel drive + reverse = :eyecrazy: :eyecrazy: :bash: flipped it on the pavement in front of the shop backing it out to go wash it. Say No To Pistons 08-22-2006, 01:12 PM ^ That was a kodak moment  Cosby 08-22-2006, 01:14 PM That shouldnt happen. If the front and rear were geared differently it would break the tcase in a truck. i dont know too much about quads though. Supper 08-22-2006, 01:18 PM ^ smaller front wheels + same gear ratio = faster rotation. edit: and the older pickups used to have different gear ratios, that is why you would have to back them up to unlock the front dif and t-case. Some jeeps are this way as well, especially rock crawlers since your front wheels do most of the work. not -huge- differences, but different none-the-less. Cosby 08-22-2006, 01:29 PM Didn't think about the wheel size... the rest all of a low top speed in 4x4 |
