Supper 03-11-2006, 09:52 PM heh. Just be glad I didn't show you all the goodies in the gun safe at the parents place then, all you got was a little taste. and go out, pick up some cheap military surpluss ammo (NOT WOLF!!!!!) and shoot it up. wonner 03-11-2006, 10:01 PM ...(NOT WOLF!!!!!)... Why? Supper 03-12-2006, 09:30 AM Why? wolf + AR = bad wolf ammo, the surpluss anyway, is lacquer coated. Thats why its green. You get an AR going good, it gets pretty hot, it melts the lacquer and gums up your action. Then if you let it cool with a case in there, good luck getting it out. And if you let it harden without a case in it... well, your chamber is now a few thousandths smaller, sometimes small enough that you will get FTF's. there are a ton of documented cases of this happened on everything from Glocks to 1911's and AR's to accurized M1's. the reason it doesn't really matter with the SKS and AK varieties is their chambers are so loose anyway, but give it enough time without cleaning and you will see the same effects. Supper 03-12-2006, 09:31 AM also, some ranges will kick you off the firing line if the rangemaster sees you with wolf ammo, it has become pretty common from what I hear. AmishBoy 03-13-2006, 05:23 PM also, some ranges will kick you off the firing line if the rangemaster sees you with wolf ammo, it has become pretty common from what I hear. :ditto: all of that. Here get some of this. http://www.sportsmansguide.com/cb/cb.asp?a=233126 Supper 03-13-2006, 10:32 PM PM inbound Amish :bigthumb: R281 05-08-2006, 08:52 PM Our firing range discourages the use of Wolf ammo. wonner 05-08-2006, 08:56 PM I went to the range on Sunday and they gave me Wolf ammo. But I cleaned it as soon as I got home. fcdrifter13 05-08-2006, 09:04 PM 3k get a .50cal.....because I couldnt.....well get one and then let me shoot it.
