When we have 150,000 troops in a foreign country fighting an enemy that kidnaps and beheads civilians, uses hospitals and ambulances to attack, and other wonderful tactics, how the hell is this the biggest headline to come out of that whole country for an entire month?

But youre forgetting the fact that there is more than one group of "insurgents" in Iraq. The ones claiming to be al Qaeda are the ones who were cutting off heads, if I recall right, and that was largely foreigners. There are Iraqis fighting, such as under al Sadr, but that is not the same group, or the same insurgency.

By the same notion of karma, what if an Iraqi man came to America and raped your daughter, or your wife, and called it karma for the same reason you are calling this karma. I agree with the end result but I still wouldnt want my family to go through that. Blaming someone for what someone else did is kinda ridiculous, dontcha think? If I have a problem with you, and I take it out on your neighbor, what would that say about what kind of a man I was? Thats what I was getting at.

When you say blaming someone for what someone else did, I take it as 2 different factions entirely. You made a reference to an Iraqi man coming over and raping someone close to me due to his belief it was deserved for the actions of Abu Ghraib. While you may consider this to be an outside party it appears, if he has ill intentions in his heart, then the fucker is going to have a hole blown in his heart. Also, the way I look at it; many of these insurgents in Iraq are Muslim. Many of them are also extremists to the root of the word. Muslim extremism believes if they are killed in the name of Islam (ex. after beheading an American soldier and then being shot themselves) that they will be martyrs and get all the virgins and go to heaven. Either capture them and let them rot in a cell for a while before they are 'martyred' from natural causes, or do something to them that will truely put them on notice (ex. sodomizing their daughter and/or wife). Sorry if this paints a grim picture, but the old saying is "War is hell."

Nah, that isn't it. I don't care if you see death all the time, there is a level of respect that has to be maintained, otherwise you have no business going into another country telling them that they are wrong. Whether their actions are comparatively worse is irrelevant in my opinion.
