Went to movie theaters because of the hype, but it was terrible. The commercials had the only entertaining stuff and that shit aint worth seeing. I only recall one funny like and that was the vagina like sleeze of wizard. Ill die before i waste my time watching that movie again. Some people find it funny, others dont; It's pretty simple. Personaly, I thought it was pretty funny, though far from the most hilarious movie ever. I have a pretty dry wit, so I'm pretty sure that statements far from true. ReverendDexter 04-25-2007, 05:01 PM Knowing the background helped me appreciate the movie - it's basically a social experiement to see what people will put up with, and how far they'll let something go due to "respecting" the other person's culture. The other thing I thought was interesting was comparing the footage in the movie during the rodeo vs. the tv channel news footage of the same event. In the movie, people are cheering at what he said, and only start booing once he starts singing. In the tv news version, they boo everything he says. |
