Not bad, other than the horrible fucking dialogue.

Natalie Portman is so hot, it should be illegal.

I saw the first of the new "Star Wars" series(with JarJar Binks) and it was such a steaming pile of crap, I swore I would never see any of these bastardized 'Star Wars' episodes. George Lucas is a douche bag.

I never seen any of the Star Wars. The whole Luke I'm you father thing got to me at an early age.

but you did see "Tommy Boy", right? :)

Correct. Sometimes it still sneaks up like that.

Pretty damn close.

I honestly think George Lucas makes out with his pillow before he writes that shit.

I think this VG Cats comic pretty much sums up Episode III:

I thought there was no need to drag out the origin of Darth Vader into 3 movies, with a trade federation war, the Senate yammering on, etc.

Instead, I'd have liked to see something more like this:

Anikin and his family are nobles. Anikin is growing up a young scion, everything handed to him, and pretty full of himself. His mother spoils him, his father is cold and distant from him but nonetheless a powerful senator. Their ship is attacked by pirates (perhaps working for a Hutt?). Too cowardly to fight, he hides and instead sees most of his family butchered and his mother raped. A bit of wacky shit happens (stuff moving because of the force, only he doesn't know how to control it). He's found, and he and Shmee are taken as slaves.

A few weeks later he's down on Tatooine living a shitty life as a slave. He sees an opening to escape, takes it, and fucks up - resulting in the death of his mother. He lashes out and the force kills his slave owner and henchmen, allowing him to get away.

But he barely eeks out an existance on the streets. Still thinking he's better than everyone else, he manages to lead a small band of other homeless teens in half-assed theft schemes, but his band eventually revolts at his bullying and kicks the crap out of him.

Palpatine shows up, having 'sensed the disturbance in the force' yadda yadda yadda, heals Anikin's broken bones, feeds the half-starved kid (now more feral than the brat we first met) and becomes a father figure to him. Anikin soon learns that ole Palpie ain't all smiles and chocolate, but P. helps him learn to control the Force (think an evil Obi coaching an evil version of Luke) and Vader lusts for the power to regain his 'better than' status and take revenge on the slavers, the pirates, and everyone else who ever mocked him.

Thus an evil, powerful Vader is born.

Meanwhile, one of the homeless girls that had been part of his band discovers she's pregnant. Since Ani was the only guy she ever 'knew', she knows he's the pop but. She tries to tell him about it, but he's drunk on his newfound powers. In secret, She births twins but dies in the process. The twins are hidden on Tatooine, a planet Vader is unlikely to ever return to since it was the site of his spiritual de-pantsing.

That, to me, fits his character far better than a pod-racing shit growing up, having a murky dream and, scared Amadala might die, converts to the dark side then, a scene later, tries to kill Amadala

I've watched Return of the Jedi, thought it was mildly entertaining at best, and then swore I would never be gay enough to watch anything that came out after that. I see enough Star Wars shit on my Burger King coffee cups, I sure as fuck don't need to go watch those movies.
