What's some good p2p file sharing software to download that isn't loaded with shit?

No. VERY picky about what I DL. And everytime I try and DL something it's either shitty or corrupted (even though it has a high rating). The RIAA is out there dude....and they know about Limewire (unfortunately).

As long as they dont sue me... I usually download 5 songs a month.

You're probably right. But, I have enough projects going on around here that I wouldn't have time for it. Plus, this comes with a nice warranty, etc, etc.

In the next 3 months, I have to clear about 10,000 square feet of woods, get concrete poured for the foundation of my new garage, and build a new garage. Plus, work on my new FB, work 50 to 60 hours a week at my job, spend time with the kids, train my goddamn dogs... No time to build a computer.

1: Set your upload bandwidth limits as low as they'll let you, it doesn't affect your download speeds on limewire.

2: As mentioned, move all files from the "shared folder."

3: Set limewire to not allow the uploading of partially downloaded files..that way, when people are searching...you dont even come up.

4: Download your selected file from the option with the most sources (if it's good quality and looks legit) that way, you stand less of a chance of showing up as downloading from them frequently. Im sure they have servers with the files to see who exactly is mass downloading also...

Just get protowall and dont worry about the uploads.

Exactly. I'm not retarded. I do the same thing (move it out of the shared folder). However, they are out there to nab people and make things difficult for people to DL stuff. So they make these bullshit files or corrupted files to it's more difficult for you to DL something.

That was the first thing I did when I installed it... Mostly because it seems like the program will give priority to uploads over downloads and it would kill my download speeds.

How about documenting the process with pics. I plan to build a garage within a year, so this will give me a little insight on what to expect.
