This thread kinda reminds me of a story... Years ago, when I was visiting my uncle, we were planning to goto Disney world. He had a young daughter who was excited to go. My uncle, upon much thought and deliberation decided the last thing he wanted to do was to be dragged around some theme park all day in the hot sun. Instead he gave me $100 and told me to goto the gift shop when I left the park and buy the biggest stuffed animal I could. He then promptly played with my niece until she was exhausted and then he put her to bed for an "afternoon" nap. When I got back that evening, he woke up his daughter and gave her this HUGE Mickey Mouse and talked her into believing that she visited Disney World.... man, if his daughter doesn't grow up too scarred, I'm gonna get TONS of parenting tips off this guy... haha

My wife pulled that with me... I was in the hospital two days after Christmas because I had a kidney stone... I was high as a fucking kite thanks to a morphine drip, and she tried to convince me she had bought me a chocolate lab puppy for Christmas and that he was sad because I wasn't home to play with him. "Don't you want to go home and see the puppy?" I was high, but I wasn't that high.
