Well accually its an Acura Integra but same difference right. Its an 89 LS with a D16 DOHC. Its black with black and grey cloth interior 5spd. I put a cheap MTX system in it. I paid $300 at ciruit city for 2 12" subs, a box and a 250watt amp, it hit pretty hard, and was well worth the 300. The interior is pretty much mint and the only problem really is that the moonroof cover is starting to fall down.

I lack the made tyte VTEC power but I managed to pull 126WHP with a few mods. I am pretty happy with it, my only main problem is I had to get a kitten with the car, but hey it knocked off 200$ off the price so I am ok with that.

Mods so far are
NGK platnium plugs
NGK wires
MSD dizzy cap
MSD blaster 2 coil
ANd a mugen Programed ECU

Future plans are a B series swap and ITBs at the moment.

I thought about buying an old Honda, but with the last headache I had with my Preludes, I don't think i'll buy into that money pit again for a long time.

Congrats on the car though. Should be fairly light, my Prelude was around 2600lbs, so the Teg should be around that same weight. So some mods will make it a quick little car.

Well after my dyno session I raced my neighbors convertible 5.0 mustang, I kept up until 3rd and i was like I hit a wall. But then again I had myself and 3 other people in my car so it did alright.

As far as the wieght, its 3385lbs. I really dont see where all the wieght is. I am planning on removing the spae getting lighter wheels, and taking out the sound deading material but leaving the carpet and panels.

Ahh yes that POS. I now hate that car. Its still here but I am probably gonna get rid of it. I started crawling around under it and was replacing mounts and found that the passenger frame rail is rusted and bent all the hell. It goes in and up, but dosnt affect driving at this time. I guess you get what you pay for. $250 FTL

A Scion TC?

The Mugen program I listed removes the speed and revlimiter and lets you tune a lil. I just dont have a laptop to do any tuning. At the dyno we did a very rough tune, but I was having some very bad breakups past 5500RPM, mostlikly a bad ground, but I will be dealing with that tomorrow.

I am trying to get a new scanner to post up the dyno sheets, because mine took a dump. I fucking hate dell.

Its a present from my grandparents. We test drove a new one and I thought it was alright so we will see.

Oh BTW anyone that lives in AZ be prepared to put up with me. If our offer goes through I am moving out there in Oct.

I fucking hate dell.

LOL. Anytime you hear someone say "I love dell" it's is usually followed by: "I got all this stuff for under $X00!"

Once you live with a dell, you learn to hate it. And that hate is absolutly justifiable.

I got a '90 EF sedan about 2 weeks ago, best purchase ever.. 45MPG, quiet and has a loud stereo. Perfect commuter machine.

it probably makes all of 90hp, and I don't care.

so you /just/ bought this old integra and allready had time to do all those mods and dyno it?

Im not saying it was my first choice, but its alright. Has decent power, alright gas milage, and a pretty good aftermarket.

What I really wanted was a Mini Cooper S, or a G35 that were used.

Got Damn! I don't see where the weight is either. But I don't think that number is right. It can't be. The RSX doesn't weigh that much, maybe 100lbs +/- that number.

Gearing in older Hondas suck ass, which is why you probably felt like you hit a wall after 3rd.

I'm looking at a 350Z used. It's been rather hard to find a manual G35 used for a decent price.

I've seen quite a few 350z's for around $18,000. There's so much in the used car market in the 18-22 range, I don't know what to buy.

that's registered gross weight, or how much weight the car can weigh FULLY LADEN according to the manufacturer.

you have to actually go find a scale to know how much it really weighs, but it generally weighs 500-800LB less than the gross weight.
