Between the LS1 from the 'Vette and the LS1 in the Camaro?

My GTUs is getting one, and I heard the LS1 in the Camaro will fit easier... Aren't they the same engine?

yep, they're pretty much both the same basic block. i would think that the one for the vette got a better flowing intake and heads to bump up the power.

Didn't the Buick Roadmaster/Caddy Fleetwood also have the LS1 ?

The difference is in the accessory drive and the oil pan. You want the Fbody version.

I don't if thats the correct artical or not, but there is a Hot Rod artical explaining the variations in the Gen III engine.
