$100T2 11-01-2005, 09:09 AM Between the LS1 from the 'Vette and the LS1 in the Camaro? My GTUs is getting one, and I heard the LS1 in the Camaro will fit easier... Aren't they the same engine? Cosby 11-01-2005, 09:30 AM I think they have different intake manifolds - go me! rxtasy 11-01-2005, 11:00 AM yep, they're pretty much both the same basic block. i would think that the one for the vette got a better flowing intake and heads to bump up the power. SpartanTS 11-01-2005, 03:32 PM Didn't the Buick Roadmaster/Caddy Fleetwood also have the LS1 ? MrBob 11-01-2005, 07:59 PM The difference is in the accessory drive and the oil pan. You want the Fbody version. http://hotrod.com/howto/113_0504_block/ I don't if thats the correct artical or not, but there is a Hot Rod artical explaining the variations in the Gen III engine. rx-7_Z06 12-06-2005, 03:25 AM The buick roadmaster had the LT1. |
