I like watching the downhill and the jumping stuff, but my favorite is the luge. Those fuckers are crazy.

I personally can't stand the olympics.

I worked on damn near every ski resort that the 2002 winter olympics were held on, and you wouldn't believe all of the bullshit that happens.

Pretty much soured me on the olympics as a whole.

I respect the curling teams for the fact that they can stand with dignity in their dilussion, and consider themselves athletes despite what the whole rest of the world knows is true.

When curling was done with sweep brooms, it took a lot outta ya. Now with the scrub brooms it's no big thing, though accuracy with the rocks does take skill. It's kinda on par with darts, IMHO. Challenging for skill and accuracy, but by no means for endurance or strength.
