anyone know where there's a schedule of autocross events like at BMW or where ever coming up? this is the only site i know of to get em, and since it'll be "closing" soon i'd like to know where there's dates for ones coming up...

Your welcome to come on over to CSCC's website and join the message forum. Everyone on there is "local" to the upstate, and we usually have a good feel of the latest news. We usually organize caravans to different events (like Atlanta autocrosses, or trips to the dragstrip) if your interested. If you race with us, you can join the club ($15/semester) and pay $10/race for our races. We usually have 4-6 runs. We're pretty small and pretty laid back.

Yeah, we're an official university club that been around for several decades (there is evidence dating back to the end of WWII, when US soldiers brought over British sports cars). We mainly run autocrosses ourselves on campus, and everyone is invited.

We have a few members who are competiting nationally in Solo II (Marc Osgood and Josh Snelling, although their car had a bent frame this time around...damn truck drivers). We have several members who are getting into Solo I/HPDE (myself included). And we have a bunch of drag racers.
