The enclosure = 2.5 ft^3 and i'm also running 500watts RMS (850 peak on the SPL Tone) to the sub, and it's SEALED. I achieved 138 dbs at 60hz. You want more info??? Well here it is...

First of all, I have more SPL trophies in my house than your heart has pulsated in the last 15 seconds. Reason being, I've been doing Audio installs for the past 7 years. Unlike you, who apparently has spent over $1500 in equipment alone, could never touch a system that i've put together. Just because you're running around with 2 W7 12"s in your trunk doesn't make you the absolute best car around. I've hit 150.7 db's with a single Kicker L7 12" with 1350 watts, which probably can match your system if not take it by a couple of dbs. So what can you tell me about car audio? Other than your mommy and daddy gave you some cash and someone who thinks they know it all told you to go buy JL. :gives: And if you knew anything about Audio, you'd probably realize that for the money you spent buying JL, I could name nearly 10 other brands that could mop the floor with their products.

Do you know what it takes to achieve an SPL score? It's everything from enclosure size, sub position, power handling, and the tone that you're using to achieve a certain score. 138 dbs isn't hard to accomplish u kno.


So call BS all you want. I have a spare sub that could put both your JL's into the ground. So until you can wire your own subs, calculate owm loads in your head, and know exactly how much power an amplifier produces without looking at the amplifier, don't call bs. Because I know a S*hit load about Car Audio.
