Its got the R1 engine in it and it hauls ass. One stretch had it at WFO, the last time I had balls to look at the speedo I was doing just shy of 90 and it kept getting faster till I grabbed the brake.

it isn't that its geared that high. Its not geared any higher then my 700. It just has the power to pull it that fast.

When doing 90 and the skis aren't barely touching the snow and all you can do is go in a straight line when a corner is coming up damned fast, yeah, I'm a little scared of wrecking. Especailly when its a $10k+ machine.

yeah... 90 in a car, with doors and a windshield...
a little different from 90 on a sled with no doors and trees everywhere...

The 500 I picked up last year will almost do 90 topped out.. but that is with the skis on the ground. Only thing around here is when going across the ice at that speed you have to watch out for the heaves.
