I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint you eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore, be zealous and repent.

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and him with Me. To him who overcomes, I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and and sat down My Father on His throne.

We are in an interesting time. Be on guard.

Adam and Eve did not know they were naked until the serpent told them.

Shame is not from the Father, or the Son.

Czar: ALL WILL BE REVEALED. You will understand.

The Jews have returned to Israel and a ten nation confederation in Europe has been established but I think it will still be awhile before the end.

I don't see anyone convincing Europe to be the defenders of Isreal. Also, I can't imagine a temple rebuilt on the temple mount any time soon. Nor can I imagine a motivation for Syria and Egypt to attack Isreal. The same goes for Russia. Iran on the other hand is all fired up and ready to go.

There is a whole lot a crazy in this thread. People who hope and look forward to genocide should get their head examined.

BackyardSog
12-09-2008, 11:47 AM
obviously we don't look forward to genocide, but that's what is predicted, beginning with the genocide of Christian believers (atheists would like that part) and anyone else who resists the "new tolerance", followed by what is essentially complete annihilation of the human race

It's what you want to happen to fulfill your prophecy. So obviously you do look forward to it. Try and justify it all you want. It's disgusting

are you kidding? the EU has already began playing an active role

An active role in the defense of Israel? I don't see that at all.

a battle with Iran may occur before Daniel's 70th Week: there are three major battles, each one more intense: 1) prior to the seven year peace treaty, 2) midpoint, 3) final battle, Christ returns when the earth is essentially desolate

Isn't the treaty at the start of the 70th week?

those who say "bah, it's a long ways off" don't really have a clue

I don't think it's very nice of you to suggest that I don't have a clue just because I think it's going to be a long ways off. You're just being a big meany. There was a gap of roughly 50 years between the return of jews to Israel and establishment of the EU. It could be another 50 years before the antichrist is revealed. I think there's good reason to believe the temple goes up before the start of the 70th week. I don't think it will be happening past 300 years but I doubt it will happen in my life. Now say you're sorry.

same old "self fulfilling prophecy" claptrap from you morons

trust me, when what is predicted begins to happen, including the supernatural events and devastating judgments, that argument will be right out the window...naturalists will be in for the shock of their (short) lives

And once again you show that you are looking forward to the annihilation of the human race. It's an evident sign of a sick mind. Not that I’m worried about your prophecy actually happening. Just the nut jobs willing to go out of there way in order to attempt to make it happen in their lifetime.

Sad. Even if there was a god. That’s nothing I would ever affiliate myself with. Obviously some people are bitter about the one life they were given.

Not concerned in the slightest.

BackyardSog

I'm not bitter at all, you know nothing about me, I enjoy this life while I have it and thank God for it, because I recognize how short it is...and if this is all there is, life is indeed futile

you're a kid right out of school, you immature views will change, frank

It doesn't take knowing you on a personal level to know you are bitter.

I used to think like you (indoctrinated) when I was a little kid. My views have already changed. I can smell bullshit from a mile away. I will never buy into that garbage.

BackyardSog

funny, you "smell bullshit from a mile away", but still believe the blatant lie that bacteria morph into human beings by deleterious mutations

I never claimed that. What a pompus notion. Get back to me when you actually know what you are talking about in regards to abiogenesis and the history of life on the planet.

I think that's what what Christ was referring to by this generation will by no means pass away......I see WW2 as the set-up for this ultimate conflict

What's the context of 'this generation'?

Also, it is possible the jews could be kicked out again before the end. The bible doesn't say that they won't be in and out a few times before the end. It just seems inconceivable to us until it happens. Personally I think it is just as likely that the rapture goes unnoticed due to religion fading away in a more secular world wide society. If that's a possible scenario, then it could take hundreds of years for the end to come.

You're attitude is correct though that all of us* should be ready.

Then take off, fella. Why waste your time? Clearly yzf and myself have a very serious discussion to iron out that according to your world view, doesn't impact you.

Your time would be better served completing chores.

I have just as much right to point out your craziness as you have to be it. This type of lunacy does affect the world as a whole.

Your time would be better served completing chores.

I take it you already did yours since it's fairy tale time.

If there is no god, then you're wasting what little time you have. Don't you have a more worthwhile, yet ultimately selfish, pursuit to chase after? If I thought that there was no god, I wouldn't waste a second with sheep like me.

?

the rapture of the Church will not go unnoticed (can you say economic collapse?), and it is immediately followed by the sealing of God's Elect Jews and the initiation of the peace treaty...God never leaves Himself without a witness

To me the effect would be greater if Christianity quietly disappears. It will be a easy sign if millions of people proclaiming a rapture suddenly dissapear. Plus it makes questions like the what about all those orphaned children, more easily resolved.

What makes you assume this? Because one does not believe in god they are ultimatly selfish? Quite the contrary. This is coming from a person who thinks all people who do not follow the same path as himself deserve to be slaughtered.

Sheep such as yourself are waging wars in the name of this garbage. Just listen to what you are talking about. Then you claim it has no affect on me or the people i care about.

Uh, yes. If there is no god then even if you attempt to do something 'selfless,' you do it for a selfish reason. You are still the determiner of what is best. Can you get this?

Oh but when you are doing something in the name of "god" you aren't doing it for the better good of yourself or to make yourself look better in his eyes? What a crock. If you want to play that game then by yout accord every "selfless" act is done for a selfish reason.

Humans were the determiner of what was best before they relied on their totalitarian deity.

I don't know where you get this from.

Then obviously you are not in tune with the world today.

You are constantly frothing at the mouth when ever there is talk of war with Iran. Its very common for religious folk in the US to think they will see the second coming. It's sad to think that anyone would welcome the biblical wreckoning.

I respect Tom's opinion on the topics i have seen him respond to and I don't think we have ever clashed. I could care less about Bouis or his opinion. He is just like you. Can't make a point so he resorts to personal attacks.

Why don't you get ANYBODY to write you a reference.....hahahaha

war in Israel signals the beginning of the end, so yes, it's exciting that the Lord could return at any time

Exactly my point. Getting excited and looking forward to war/genocide over the supernatural is disgusting.

the Church lives in the hope of a new Ruler, who judges and rules in righteousness, a new heaven and a new earth, with no more disease, death, pain and suffering

former things wil pass away, and will not come to mind

Well don't expect rational people to support such tomfoolery.

if you were less of a prick, I'd be more respectful, but since day 1 on rx7club, you're a dismissive elitist with the "that article is crap" stuff, so I just return the favor

I wasn't even talking to you and you came in with the personal attacks. As if what I was saying was irrelevant because of your opinion of me.

before I said anything to you (I didn't know you from a hole in the wall) your first comment to me was something along the lines of "the origins debate, I'll make you wish you never dropped that bar of soap!"...initial comments tell me ALOT about someone, from that time on, you may as well have worn a neon sign saying "asshole", and I never took you seriously after that....still don't....I'm not sure why you followed me here (this section)

Actually we debated before that comment. I also seem to remember you trying to post a bunch of Behe garbage until that got walked all over. Now it's your big "thermodynamics" claim (whoop whoop:40oz:)

I could care less what you think of me. I was coming on here a hell of a lot sooner than when I started posting here frequently. I even saw some of the articles I posted on the other website that you posted on here about the Iran conflict of the time. Like I have always said. I started posting on here when the other website was down for a few days (mostly because I was bored at the time). It really had nothing to do with you.

I just think it's funny that you cant even handle debating your own topics without resorting to personal insults. It really is a poor reflection of your character.
