Not really. Honestly, I don't really eat all that much. I typically grab a caffienated drink at school between classes, and snag a snack on the way to work. Then I go out to lunch, usually fast food as I only take 30min lunches so that I can earn 2.5hrs of overtime a week (30min/day * 5 days a week) and maybe another snack at home, like a bowl of soup. But eating at home is rare.

Edit: I dunno where you guys live, or what the cost of living is there, but $12/hr isn't too bad for a student. My 900sq ft apartment is $540/mo rent, if that helps in comparing living costs.

Cost of living down south is cheap. In NY 12 an hour won't get you shit.

Right now, I'm making $13.65/hr, but with profit sharing involved which varies quarter to quarter and pays $x amount/hr for 400 hours, I can make anywhere between $14.50 and $15.xx/hr/quarter. And I work from 6PM to 6AM three to four days per week (so one paycheck is 36 hours, the other 48), depending on the week (the weeks rotate), but that also means some weeks you'll have three days off and others will be four. Not to mention the benefits. The benefits are great.

And in these parts $350/month will get you a nice one bedroom apartment, and $500/month will get you two bedrooms, a huge kitchen/living room and a garage.

And my company's looking to add more people (like 200 more) by 2008.
