For those of you that read my thread on Monday about my swollen neck, etc... I was put on an antibiotic to get my swollen tonsel back under control, but after two days I wasn't doing any better.

After not eating anything for those two days, I called the doc's office again and they decided to put me on steroids. I was so weak from the lack of food I could barely walk 20 feet without starting to shake. So far, these little fuckers ROCK! I've actually been able to eat and drink, I'm not miserable... it's like a miracle. I'm only 2/3 of the way into my first day's dose, too. Woot!

My throat is still sore, but not so bad that I want to cry any time I have to swallow.

That being said, between the antibiotic and the 'roids, I'm a bit loopy. I kind of feel like I have a slight buzz... could be the lack of food, although I'm working on that.

If in a day or two I start snapping at people, I have an excuse :)

When I was in my early twenties I was prescribed a nasal spray for some infection thingy that wouldn't clear up. It was a steroid based medicine.

It made me REALLY edgy and hyped after a few weeks of that shit..

i told you not to put it all in your throat and rest your nose against my bellybutton.

Pills. I'm only on them for six days to kick the infection or whatever it is. I guess they help the antibiotic kick in. So far, so good.

I'm supposed to go visit a couple of the stores I'm taking over tomorrow... not sure if that's a good idea or not. They may think I'm insane the way I'm feeling right now.

haha! that reminds me of this time i picked my nose w/ a pick tool
and I was on antibiotics B/C it got infected ......I was hella high and my cheeck swallen....People(customers didnt take me seriously)
So yeah good luck...they will prolly think you are crazy or something =P

I could barely talk loud enough for people to hear me today. My customers probably all thought I was an asshole :( I wasn't in the friendliest of moods considering how much pain I was in.

I know it sux!

Other than the times I had to go to the ER due to flair-ups with my Crohn's Disease, I don't think I've ever been in such pain. And that is saying a LOT.
