I'm going to be getting the Megasquirt running on our car this week, but I need to know: What is required for the car to create a properly timed spark? I've heard lots of different things, but nothing concrete!

I've heard lots of different things, but nothing concrete! rxtasy 08-06-2005, 11:43 PM what's up. sorry i don't have any experience with fc's and i can't believe it's been more than 24hrs and none of the fc owners have replied. maybe u should post in the 2nd gen section. i would think the CAS would go in just like a dist does. with the #1 rotor at TDC and line up the dot on the gear. I know the CAS, and I'm assuming the pressure sensor is still nessessary as the car retards timing based on the boost reading from that sensor. But what else? Water temp? Air temp? |
