I'm doubting the owner of this place has ever had a liability lawsuit thrown against them.

Zero 04-06-2009, 02:56 PM Used car dealership (with their ads and contact info proudly displayed) lists a riced out 97 ford probe on craigslist as "Street Racing Ready" http://norfolk.craigslist.org/ctd/1105342565.html I'm doubting the owner of this place has ever had a liability lawsuit thrown against them. Cosby 04-06-2009, 03:03 PM Def not a good idea to advertise the car like that. Fendamonky 04-06-2009, 03:09 PM Norfolk car dealership scum. Nothing more really needs to be said. There are a million and a half of these type places in the Norfolk/VB area. They all prey on young military members, offering in house credit, military discounts, no payments for 6 months, etc., etc., etc., then they slam the newb with %200 interest and just rape the poor kids. Places like that are the reason many military commands REQUIRE non-NCOs to bring in their contracts before purchase. The sad thing is, that car will probably be sold within a week. And within 2-3 years the place will have over $10k from the buyer. Zero 04-06-2009, 03:11 PM This is how it plays out: -Person buys car. -Person gets injured street racing. -Person sues car dealership. /dealership. Fendamonky 04-06-2009, 03:44 PM This is how it plays out: -Person buys car. -Person gets injured street racing. -Person sues car dealership. /dealership. That is how it might work out in the real world. But these types of people cater to young, dumb, enlisted types. If the kid who buys the car is involved in an accident while street racing then he will get raped by the military system so fast it will make his head spin, and the LAST thing he will be trying to do with any legal advice is sue the dealership. Hate to say it, but those kinds of people target the bottom %10 of the national average when it comes to intelligence. They actually catch the bottom %10, of the initial %10. So yeah... I'd say their risk is kinda low. Still the scum of the earth, but they pretty much have their bases covered (probably have written down a direct order NOT to participate in any illegal street racing using the vehicle provided, right next to where they have the outrageous % of interest in the small text, which isn't read by their prey anyway). wotnartd 04-06-2009, 03:49 PM It's not even race ready. No boost. Only a header and guages. ooooohhhh My Saturn could give it a run for its money. Fendamonky 04-06-2009, 04:09 PM Next thread on probelife.com: Hai guys, I think I has a boost leek in mah car. For some reason when I rev teh engin my turb0 wont spool. my vaccume is fine, but where is boost??? wotnartd 04-06-2009, 04:22 PM Lol. Fendamonky 04-06-2009, 04:45 PM My Saturn could give it a run for its money. That's because you've got teh mad tyte kustom CAI and hood scoop though! Custom mods automatically subtract 100lbs from gross vehicle weight, and add an additional 15% HP gain. 1revnrex 04-06-2009, 04:55 PM I emailed them: Are you fucking retarded promoting street racing in your ad? Let the person buy that car and kill someone with it and watch how fast your dealership gets raped in the ass in civil court. wotnartd 04-06-2009, 05:10 PM That's because you've got teh mad tyte kustom CAI and hood scoop though! Custom mods automatically subtract 100lbs from gross vehicle weight, and add an additional 15% HP gain. And a LED third brake light! Even if it adds weight, it subtracts weight. $100T2 04-06-2009, 05:14 PM It's not even race ready. No boost. Only a header and guages. ooooohhhh My Saturn could give it a run for its money. Bitch, you forgot the seat covers. Don't front on the seat covers. Tofuball 04-07-2009, 07:38 AM And a LED third brake light! Even if it adds weight, it subtracts weight. Because it's filled with pressurized helium! wonner 04-07-2009, 07:43 AM Man, did you see the steering wheel? It's got buttons for NAWS!!! Tofuball 04-07-2009, 07:56 AM Aw, I was hoping it was to fire the missiles. wonner 04-07-2009, 08:03 AM Well, there are TWO buttons... Fendamonky 04-07-2009, 04:11 PM Man, did you see the steering wheel? It's got buttons for NAWS!!! You know... I've been *strongly* contemplating getting a steering wheel like that, except I'd want to wire the buttons to run my cruise control. Left to engage cruise/lower speed, right to resume/raise speed. I just gotta figure out if it's doable, lol. I'd like a smaller steering wheel, but I will NOT give up my cruise control (else I end up "cruising" at about 100mph on the highway!) wotnartd 04-07-2009, 04:13 PM You know... Fendamonky 04-07-2009, 04:36 PM Where's your horn? dunno, I've never used it... Nah, point taken. Twin buttons at the same location as the "nawz" buttons. |
