Unless you know what you're doing, having a DSLR is often a more expensive way of creating problems. Unless you're buying it for a reason, go with a high end point and shoot. Nikon D40x wotnartd 07-22-2008, 11:01 PM DSLR is better, though. So you can see what you're framing in. In the photolab, I see so many pictures that aren't centered, because people just point and click, but can't see, because of glare. They ask if I can fix the pictures, "yeah, buy a better camera." 1revnrex 07-22-2008, 11:03 PM DSLR is better, though. So you can see what you're framing in. Has built in lens stabilization. donga 07-23-2008, 05:02 AM I've got a Canon 300D Rebel ... they also called it a KISS dslr ... a good secondhand one won't set you back more than $500 - and you can do a lot with the kit lens it comes with (18-55 mm) ... but like a lot of dslrs the money is in your next lens ... canon aren't cheap ... so if you're after a telephoto to add on after ,you maybe paying that much again! I'm happy with mine and you can do a lot with it ... great for motorsport and other action shots. cheers the shaolin 07-25-2008, 08:35 AM So how the fuck is Oz? Pretty much amazing. I'd stay longer if the FC wasn't begging to be worked on. BATMAN 07-25-2008, 10:17 AM Nikon...... u've seen my pics, starting with the signature ones... 1revnrex 07-25-2008, 12:13 PM Nikon...... u've seen my pics, starting with the signature ones...
